My idea for Sunshine State Yarns was simple, design colorways around all the beautiful places and things Florida has to offer .  We, at Laurel Run Farms, are raising Florida bred Alpacas. We are lucky to have a wonderful miller, Pioneer Fiber Mill in New Smyrna Beach, Florida who supports us on our journey.

From the electric colors of Miami to the South, the coppers of St. Augustine to the north and the pink beaches of Destin to the west, this blog will share with you all the color that Florida has to offer.  I will not only share the most toured destinations but the places that make this state great, the back roads, the small towns, the inlets and the quiet spots.
